Government of Uttarakhand’ has constituted ‘Shri Kedarnath Utthan Charitable Trust’ with an aim to ensure holistic and time bound rehabilitation of the Kedarnath shrine – that was badly affected by flash floods in the year 2013.
‘Shri Kedarnath Utthan Charitable Trust’ was established as a Public and Charitable trust on 13th December 2017 with the following broad objectives:
- To assist in rehabilitation of victims of the natural calamity of 2013 - including family members of those who lost their lives in this disaster and also the survivors and their family members.
- To facilitate construction, re-construction, development, re-development and renovation of all infrastructure at Kedarnath Dham. (Details about the formation of trust, including detailed objectives of the trust are available in the TRUST DEED )
